Family Activity - Valentine Bag Making at Home for Plain Jaine Foundation

Charitable Givings needs help from you and your children this Valentine's season!

To show love to Foster Children/Youth around Valentine’s Day, we are making small Valentines Gift Bags to deliver to children living in MetroWest Residential Foster Group Homes on February 14th.

Valentine’s Day is another holiday that is extremely difficult for these children to be apart from their birth families – particularly those living in residential facilities. We want to let these children know they are special, thought of and cared for on Valentine’s Day and throughout the year!

Please sign up for a number of children who are living in residential homes and make "Goody" Bags at home for them. It is a great activity for you to do with your children at home to get them involved.

We like to include some sort of edible treat, a valentines card, and anything else you would like to include that you think a child might enjoy. (think of "boo bags!")

Other ideas include: Cookies (big hit), Granola Bars, pretzel bags, Valentines Pens, stickers, $5 gift cards for the teens, anything you might give out in your child's own classroom. See sample pictures from prior years

Please drop off at 25 South Woodside, Wellesley MA by February 8 and note the case worker if possible on your drop off if you sign up for foster home.
