Fall Carnival (September 20, 2026)

Join WMF for our annual Fall Carnival, a fun-filled event for the whole family. This year's event will be held at Hunnewell Elementary School (outdoors, weather permitting, or inside of the school in the event of rain). Bounce around with Busy Bee Jumpers, play with Knucklebones, and enjoy music from DJ Mike! Fun for all ages with crafts, fun and games, face painting and more!

The Charitable Givings Committee will have a collection table for Cradles to Crayons - please bring your gently used clothing of all sizes for donation.

Attendees can park in the nearby paid lots or utilize paid street parking.

Please register today so we can get an accurate headcount.

Vendors from WMF Merchant Discount Program (MDP) will have tables at this event! MDP is an ongoing discount program that offers exclusive discounts to over 125 local businesses in and around Wellesley. All WMF members with proof of membership through the Wild Apricot App are eligible for the discounts.

New & Expecting Mom Strolls (September 23, 2026)

The Wellesley Mothers Forum invites all new and expecting moms to a casual stroll! Feel free to come with your strollers, young kids, or just yourselves. All moms are welcome. 

Please note that this event is part of a series of strolls throughout the year. We also have a WhatsApp group for New & Expectant Moms to further connection and support one another. If you'd like to be added, please email Danae McKenzie at danael.mckenzie@gmail.com.

We will meet at the Wellesley Free Library (Main Branch) and walk the Brook Path.

New Member Coffee (September 25, 2026)

We’d love to welcome you to our first Wellesley Mothers Forum New Members Coffee of the new season!

Whether you’re brand new to the Forum or still getting to know the Wellesley community, this is a wonderful chance to connect with fellow new members, make some new friends, and get a feel for what the Wellesley Mothers Forum is all about. Come enjoy a relaxed morning with coffee, mimosas, light bites, and plenty of time to chat and mingle with other moms in the area.

If you’re in your first year of membership, we especially encourage you to join us!

A few details:

The coffee will take place at a member’s home. Street parking is available along the U-shaped road, with plenty of spaces.
Please enter through the white-picket fence gate — we’ll be gathering in the backyard.
Little ones are absolutely welcome! The backyard has direct access to Perrin Park, making it easy for kids to enjoy some outdoor time while you connect.

We hope you’ll stop by and start your Wellesley Mothers Forum experience with some new friends.

Mothers of Children with Special Needs: Fall Social (September 29, 2026)

Let's kick-off the start of the school year together! We'll have drinks and light bites, great conversation, and welcoming community vibes! This event is open to all WMF members, and is particularly geared towards moms who identify as having a child with special needs (in whatever way you define that). For those who have been to MOCSWN gatherings before, please feel free to invite a friend who you think would enjoy and benefit from this group!

The Mothers of Children with Special Needs ("MOCWSN") is a WMF subgroup for moms who identify as having a child with special needs, in whatever way that means to them. Some moms in this group have kids who are receiving early intervention, some are wondering whether their child would benefit from an evaluation, some have kids with an ADHD or autism diagnosis, some have a child with a genetic diagnosis, and everything in between. All are welcome! We provide support to each other through organized events, our WhatsApp group chats, and informal sharing of personal experiences and resources.

Join the New & Expecting Moms group for a fun afternoon at Bloom & Grow Creative in Natick! Little ones can play, explore, and get creative in Bloom & Grow’s thoughtfully designed play space while moms have a chance to connect and catch up.

This event is best suited for children ages 1–3.

This event is open to all WMF members, and is particularly geared towards moms who identify as having a child with special needs (in whatever way you define that).

Dr. Becky has built a movement around one radical idea: kids are capable of far more resilience than we give them credit for, and parents are capable of far more calm than they think. Through her book Good Inside: A Guide to Becoming the Parent You Want to Be, her chart-topping podcast Good Inside with Dr. Becky, and a rapidly growing community platform, she offers real, usable strategies for the moments that stump us most — meltdowns, sibling rivalry, screen-time battles, back talk — all grounded in attachment theory and a deep belief that our kids (and we) are doing our best.

Named "The Millennial Parenting Whisperer" by TIME, Dr. Becky brings clinical expertise and realistic, compassionate insight to the most challenging parts of raising children in today's world.

MOCWSN: Sensory Friendly Performance of The Nutcracker (December 04, 2026)

Join us for a Sensory Friendly Performance of the Nutcracker with the Boston Ballet. We will have a discounted group block of tickets in the second and third rows of the Mezzanine section.

This performance and in-theater experience is designed to welcome guests who are neurodiverse, have sensory sensitivities, and need additional accessibility accommodations to enjoy the ballet.

Some of the alterations to the performance include:

The house lights will not be completely dark during the show.
Loud noises will be restricted.
Some audience noise and/or talking might occur and is permitted.
Audience members will be allowed back to their seats if they must step away.

What to expect and what will be available:

Headsets will be available for audio description listening.
American Sign Language (ASL) ushers and interpreted announcements will be available.
Pre-show activities in the lobby of the Citizens Bank Opera House will start at 12pm.
Quiet spaces located in the VIP lounge in the lower lobby at the Citizens Bank Opera House.
Large print program books will be available.
Audience members will have access to resource materials to prepare for their visit.

Performance Run Time: Approximately one hour and 20 minutes, including one intermission.

Cost: $15 per person. Please let us know if you plan to join us by Friday, 10/30 to help us better determine the group's needs.
