WMF is partnering with Family Nurturing Center of Massachusetts to collect gently worn and new baby and toddler clothing (sizes newborn to 5T) + diapers/wipes. While doing your spring cleaning, please consider donating! Items can be dropped at 24 Belair Road, Wellesley from April 27th through May 4th. All contributions greatly appreciated!

The Wellesley Mothers Forum invites all new and expecting moms to a casual stroll! Feel free to come with your strollers, young kids, or just yourselves! All moms are welcome.

Please note that this event is one in a series of strolls throughout the year. Additionally, we have a WhatsApp group for participating New & Expectant Moms to further the connection and support for one another. Please reach out by email if you'd like to be added. We will meet at the Wellesley Free Library - main branch - and walk the Brook Path.

In this thoughtful and empowering talk, parenting expert Ann Douglas explores why parenting feels so high-stakes right now—and how parents can move beyond anxiety and burnout to rediscover confidence, connection, and joy.

Through practical insights and research-based strategies, Ann will help parents recognize the signs of burnout, strengthen their relationships with their children, and build supportive communities with other families. Her message is both reassuring and inspiring: parents have the power to thrive alongside their children while helping create a healthier, more compassionate world.

Ann Douglas is an internationally recognized parenting author and speaker who sparks important conversations about parenting and mental health. She is the creator of the Mother of All book series and the author of several bestselling books, including Happy Parents, Happy Kids and Parenting Through the Storm. Ann regularly delivers keynote presentations and workshops for parenting, health, and education organizations.

Chow? Pung? Kong? Quint? Charleston? Jokers? Bird Bam? Curious to learn what these terms mean? Come join the Mothers of Children with Special Needs for our spring social and learn Mahjong!

Cristina Hoff, a Hunnewell WMF mom, is a teacher to her core and a certified Oh My Mahjong Instructor, as well as the founder of Tiles with Tina (@tileswithtina). An avid player turned instructor, she brings over 25 years of teaching experience in fitness and six years as a national lifestyle host for Alice’s Table, leading virtual floral arranging workshops. Cristina shares her love of mahjong with players of all levels in a fun, approachable way.

This event is open to all WMF members, and is particularly geared towards moms who identify as having a child with special needs (in whatever way you define that). For those who have been to MOCWSN gatherings before, please feel free to invite a friend who you think would enjoy this group!

The Mothers of Children with Special Needs ("MOCWSN") is a WMF subgroup for moms who identify as having a child with special needs, in whatever way that means to them. Some moms in this group have kids who are receiving early intervention, some are wondering whether their child would benefit from an evaluation, some have kids with an ADHD or autism diagnosis, some have a child with a genetic diagnosis, and everything in between. All are welcome! We provide support to each other through organized events, our WhatsApp group chats, and informal sharing of personal experiences and resources.

GAME, SET, CHEERS!

Bring your A-game but leave your rackets at home! The only thing we'll be serving are center court cocktails, canapes and conversation.

The Tennis Ball will be held on the Sunset Terrace at Wellesley Country Club, and members are encouraged to bring a spouse, partner, or friend! Come dressed in your tennis best and ready to rally (around the bar and buffet). We can't wait to celebrate the end of our WMF year with you!

Attire: Serve looks and aces at our tennis-themed cocktail party! Sporty chic and your favorite tennis-inspired outfits are encouraged! Classic spring dresses & attire are welcome, too!

Registration is $50 per person and will cover all food, drinks, and fun. There will be no refunds for this event.

Join the Mothers of Children with Special Needs subgroup for a casual daytime hang to swap stories, ask questions, share advice and experiences, and just catch up with each other. We'll serve coffee and light snacks. Drop by when you can and stay for as long as you're able between 9:30am and 11:00am. This event is open to all WMF members, and is particularly geared towards moms who identify as having a child with special needs (in whatever way you define that).

Mahjong Summer Kickoff: Crak, Bam, Win! (June 24, 2026)

Let's kick off summer with a bang!

Join us on June 24th at 7:00 pm for an evening of mahjong! We'll begin with 30 minutes of social time, followed by 90 minutes of tournament-style play.

Our favorite mahjong guru, Danielle Senzer, will guide the evening with plenty of prizes up for grabs! We'll birdie bam cheers with drinks and light bites.

Please note that this event is for players who already know their way around the tiles—we can't wait to see you there!
