  Enjoy a scenic autumn jog along Wellesley’s popular Brook Path. Whether you’re getting ready for the Turkey Trot, or just want to enjoy some exercise in the fresh air before we are cooped up for the winter, come join us! Pace could range from 9:30 to 11:00/mile. Depending on the size of the group, could split into two groups, sub-10 and 10+/mile. Go for a 3-4 mile run, with an optional stop at Whole Foods at mile 1 or mile 3 if needed.

  The Brook Path is an ADA-accessible stone dust path in Fuller Brook Park that runs along the Fuller and Caroline Brooks. Established in 1899, the park is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

  Park on Maugus Ave or Seaward Road and meet your fellow joggers at Philips Park (the playground in between those two roads).

  Run departs at 9:00am!

  Join us for Bundles and Bonfires, a fun and cozy evening with the outdoor parents group! This event is all about community, warmth, and swapping outdoor gear. Whether your kids have outgrown their winter gear, or you're just looking for something new for yourself, bring any gently used outdoor gear (all sizes welcome, from kids to adults) and trade it for something fresh. All unclaimed gear will be donated.

  We’ll have a bonfire to keep us warm, plus hot drinks, tasty snacks, and plenty of time to chat and connect with other parents in a relaxed setting. It’s the perfect opportunity to declutter, refresh your family’s gear, and enjoy a crisp evening outdoors. 

  Come for the swap, stay for the snacks and socializing. We can't wait to see you there!

  Give your pumpkins a second life and donate them to the lovely rescued animals at Unity Farm Sanctuary.

  The special fall harvest "Pumpkin Tours" are a fun, hour+ guided tour, where you will visit with our 225+ rescued farm animal residents, hear about some of their journeys, learn about the ways they adapt to the changing seasons, and offer special pumpkin snacks to some of the animals. If you have any uncarved pumpkins, Unity Farm Sanctuary always welcomes pumpkin donations.

  Pumpkin Tours differ from our General Sanctuary Tours, so repeat visitors will have much to enjoy. These tours also include special feeding of seasonal treats (including old pumpkins!) for some of our animal residents. 

  There are two tours available, one at 10am and one at 11am. Please only register for one tour. Only children aged 1 year and above require registration.

  Join us for an intimate evening of conversation with acclaimed author Marjan Kamali, author of The Lion Women of Tehran and The Stationery Shop. Our in-house author, Greer Macallister (aka Jael Maack), will host a Q&A exploring Marjan’s work and inspirations along with a discussion of her latest book. Reading The Lion Women of Tehran in advance is highly encouraged but not required.

  For dinner, we’ll enjoy themed dishes mentioned in the book, such as Salad Olivier, fesenjoon, and jeweled rice, as well as Persian tea.

• Charitable Givings: Cocotree Kids Underwear Packing Event

  Mom-mosas, coffees and undies! Come help us make an impact while catching up with some WMF members after drop off! Cocotree Kids is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides free, new underwear to at-risk youth in Massachusetts.

  Underwear is one of the most needed but least donated items to shelters and youth-focused organizations because it needs to be new. Cocotree Kids’ mission is to protect a child’s dignity and confidence by providing them with a pack of 7 pairs (a week’s worth) of new underwear that fits. The Wellesley Mothers Forum would love your help to support this organization.

  To participate, kindly consider a $35 donation (or more) to help cover the cost of underwear that we will be packing. Their goal is to raise $300,000 for 30,000 kids and 210,000 pairs of underwear! With over 100,000 children aged 5-17 in MA living at or below the poverty level, it’s no surprise that requests for underwear are constant. On average, Cocotree Kids serves about 2,300 kids per month. They are already at 60% of their goal and need our help to close the gap.   Join the Working Moms Group for a festive night out at the Endicott House for Merry Murders in the Mansion, an interactive holiday murder mystery dinner. Set inside a beautifully decorated French chateau, the evening blends a staged investigation with sharp humor, great food, and a few surprises along the way.

  Ticket includes: buffet dinner, professional mystery performance, and access to a cash/credit bar. Please note that WMF is unable to offer refunds for this event.

  Bar opens at 7 pm and show starts at 7:30pm. A relaxed way to kick off the season and enjoy a holiday night out with great company. Festive attire encouraged!
